Affinity Gathering and Interfaith Quiet Spaces

Modified on Wed, 04 Oct 2023 at 04:21 PM

In response to student feedback, we have worked with the Provost's Office to allocate rooms for affinity groups, interfaith quiet + prayer space, and quiet study during the fall 2023 semester.

As we begin work on construction for the campus plan, we must be flexible with our use of available space. We will be reviewing and allocating space on a per-semester basis. This will allow us to accommodate the changing needs of the campus plan.

Affinity Gathering Space

For the fall semester, Stebbins Hall rooms 202 and 203 are affinity gathering spaces for students, faculty, and staff. You must have a reservation to use these spaces. Use 25Live to schedule reservations.

Interfaith/Quiet Study Space

Stebbins 303 will be a quiet space. We are outfitting the room with either carrels or partitions to facilitate this use. We are also working on charging/power options for the space. Stebbins 303 will be available on a first come first serve basis. Reservations are not required.

New for the fall 2023 semester, Sherrill Hall room 143 will be available as an interfaith/quiet space on a first come first serve basis.

University Hall 3-091 is a quiet space and will be available on a first come first serve basis. Reservations are not required.

Please help us steward these shared resources. Keep them clean, remove trash, and leave them in good condition for the next person or group.
