Students: How to Submit an Assignment on Tevera

When completing a document that was started within an assignment, you can submit it using the Submit button found when opening the assignment, or at the bottom of the document itself.

Without opening the Document 

  1. Within your Assignments workspace, click on the assignment name.

  2. If the document within the assignment has all required fields completed, the Submit button will appear next to the Open button. 

 3. Click the Submit button.


4. You may be prompted to select from dropdown menus, to determine who the document is to be submitted to.                                                                     

5. If a signature is optional, a Skip this signature option will appear in the dropdown




6. Select the appropriate signers to submit the assignment to. 



7. If one of the signers you need to select, like a site supervisor, does not have a Tevera account, and the assignment settings allow for it, you can submit the document for signature via email. Simply select the Email link to form option from the dropdown and enter the correct email. 

8. Once all required signers have been selected, you can then click the Submit button.


From within the assignment 

  1. From your Assignments workspace, click on the assignment name.

  2. Click the Open or Start button.

  3. Complete the form. When all required fields have been completed, scroll to the bottom of the form.

  4. Click the Submit button. 

  5. Follow steps 3-7 above to submit the assignment.


Once you have submitted the assignment, the status of the assignment will change to Waiting On or Complete, depending on how many reviewers or signers it has.
