Modified on Tue, May 14 at 5:46 PM

Need help submitting grades on Self-Service? We've provided a step-by-step guide below. You can also find this information–and other tools for faculty–on the University website.

Step 1: Log in to Self-Service

Visit Self-Service at lesley.edu/selfservice. Use your Lesley University username and password to log in.

Step 2: Navigate to the Faculty Overview Page

From the "Welcome" page, select the "Faculty" box. You can also access the "Faculty" section via the navigation menu. First, select the "Daily Work" icon (resembling a briefcase). Next, open the "Daily Work" menu item, followed by the "Faculty" menu item. Then, click on the "Faculty Overview" link.

Step 3: Choose the Course

The "Faculty Overview" page contains a table that displays your courses. It's organized by semester and/or term. Locate the course for which you need to submit grades and click on the corresponding course link.

Step 4: Access the Grading Section

The "Section Details" page will load. You'll find options to review your course roster, enter attendance, and submit grades. If you wish to check upcoming deadlines, select the "Deadline Dates" link. Otherwise, proceed by clicking on "Grading."

Step 5: Select the Grading Period

A read-only table with your course roster and previously enteredviously-entered grade information will display. The default view is set to "Overview" format. To enter final grades, click on the "Final Grade" link beside the "Overview" link. For midterm grades, select the "Midterm" link.

Step 6: Enter Grades

The table will now display your course roster. It also contains columns for entering attendance and grade information. First, find the student for whom you need to enter grades. Then, select the appropriate grade from the drop-down list.

Step 7: Save or Post Grades

If you're entering midterm grades, the grades will save automatically. If you're entering final grades, you must click the "Post Grades" button to submit them. A pop-up window will appear, asking you to confirm your grade posting. Review your entries and click "Post Grades" to confirm.
