Student Attendance and Participation
As the course begins, keep an eye on student attendance and participation. Are students logging in to the course and accessing content? Are students participating in activities and assignments? Is anyone falling behind?

Communicate With Your Students
Keep communication flowing throughout your course. Whether your course meets in person, virtually, asynchronously, or a combination of all three, keeping communication flowing is key to creating sense of community among your students and keeping them engaged. Send Announcements to introduce students to new topics, recap the week, or remind them of upcoming events, assignments and due dates. Or reach out to students individually or in groups.

Assess Student Work
Keep on top of student work by checking their participation in Discussions or Journals, review and grade Assignments and Tests, and provide your students with meaningful feedback.
