Electric Vehicle Charging on Campus

Lesley University is in the process of installing new Autel Level 2 electric vehicle chargers on our South Campus location at 101 Brattle Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Once fully activated, these chargers will support a wide variety of electric vehicles and provide reliable, efficient charging for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

 

Charger Capabilities

  • Four - Level 2 AC Chargers
  • Up to 12 kW output
  • 208/240 volts, 50 amps
  • Conductive plug-in charging (standard J1772 EV connector)

What This Means for You

These chargers will offer:

  • Slightly faster charging than typical home Level 2 units
  • Convenient access during classes, meetings, and events
  • Compatibility with most EV models on the market
  • A reliable option for regular charging without relying on off-campus stations

 

Installation Status

The chargers are currently being installed and configured. Once final electrical work, testing, and software setup are complete, they will be activated and available for campus use.
