NEW LESLEY UNIVERSITY EMAIL SIGNATURE GUIDELINES:
· Use the email signature template provided by University Marketing to create your email signature
· The Lesley University logo is the only graphic that should be used in your email signature. Background images or patterns for emails should never be used.
· The standard university email font is Calibri, size 14
· No quotes or other language should be included in email signatures.
There are a few limited exceptions to this rule if the additional text is official Lesley University information and/or language. One example includes Advancement, where there is language inviting donations to the university below email signatures. If you would like to include text into your email signature please contact University Marketing for approval.
· Phone numbers should always be formatted with periods, not dashes

Directions for adding a signature to your email:
Step 1: When you are prompted to type in your signature, instead copy your desired signature template from the options above, and paste it into the signature box.
Step 2: Replace the placeholder text with your details, including adding your Lesley email username in front of the @lesley.edu placeholder. Be sure not to change the format of the signature.
Step 3: Continue the directions to complete your signature setup.
Directions for Office365 - lesley.edu/email
1. Once you have logged in, select the gear "Settings" tab in the top right of the screen.
2. Choose "Options" from the drop down menu.
3. Choose "Settings" from the menu on the left.
4. Copy and paste the text for the email signature template ONLY. You cannot include a logo through the online system.
5. Type your details into the email signature and choose "Save" at the bottom of the page.
6. You can choose to have a signature automatically included in every email, or, if you would like to include a signature on a case by case basis, simply open a new email and click on "Insert – Signature" at the top of the page.

Anyone using the logo should reference this information beforehand, and feel free to contact University Marketing with any questions.
