What is myLesley?
myLesley (Blackboard) is the university's learning management system and functions as your online classroom. You may use myLesley to attend or teach fully online courses or supplement face-to-face courses, access community resources, and more.
Before getting started, please view the myLesley System Requirements to ensure that your machine is compatible.
Accessing myLesley
To access myLesley, go to http://my.lesley.edu.
To login, click the myLesley Login button.
You will be redirected to a Sign In page (image below) where you will enter your Lesley credentials in the form of username@lesley.edu. You will then be prompted to enter your password to authenticate.
Please note that Safari DOES NOT work with the SSO application on the Mac. Please use Chrome or Firefox and follow these steps to clear your cache if you have any difficulty with SSO in Chrome or Firefox.

Navigating myLesley
After logging in, you will find yourself on the myLesley home page. You can navigate to other sections of myLesley by clicking on the links in the left-hand navigation menu.
myLesley Home
The myLesley Home page is the go-to resource for Lesley resources, useful links, and other important content. The content will vary slightly depending on your role at the university (student, faculty, staff).
Profile
The Profile page allows you to upload a profile picture, add/edit your pronouns and name pronunciation, and edit your notification settings. Please note that you cannot edit or update your contact information on the Profile page - you must update this information in Self-Service.
Activity Stream
The Activity Stream shows you what's new in all of your courses and allows you to easily navigate to your content. The Activity Stream includes notifications about past due assignments, upcoming events and due dates, and other announcements and activity. You may filter or select which activities appear on the Activity Stream. Watch the Activity Stream video for more information.
Courses
Courses vary in design depending on the instructor, but some common elements exist. See Navigate Inside Your Course for an overview on these basic myLesley course components.

Organizations
Calendar
The Calendar tool can be used to keep track of your assignments and other useful information. Your instructors may add due dates for assignments and other useful information to the calendar. Watch the Use the Calendar video for more information.
Messages
Course messages are private and secure text-based communication that occurs within your course among course members. Unlike course emails, you must be logged in to a course to read and send course messages. Watch the Messages video for more information.
Grades
The Grades area shows all grading information across all of your courses.
Faculty
Faculty will see a summary for each course, including which items are ready to be graded, and can begin grading from this page. Select an item's title to open it, choose a submission, and start grading.
Students
Students will see a list of recently graded items, upcoming assignments, and overall grades for each course. Click on a course to view all graded items within that course. Students can also see newly posted grades in their Activity Stream.
Assist
Blackboard Assist features campus resources for students. Two services can be featured at the top of the page with additional services listed below in alphabetical order.
Tools
The Tools area allows you to access tools outside of a course (ex VoiceThread, your Kaltura My Media, Brainfuse Online Tutoring, Infobase tutorials, and more. You will only see tools that you have access to.
Training and Support
myLesley training and support is available to all members of the Lesley community.
Online Resources
Do you have questions or need assistance with myLesley? Check out the myLesley Resources. These resources will guide you through using myLesley for teaching and learning.
Student Orientation Community
All faculty and students are enrolled in the myLesley Student Orientation organization. The goal of this self-paced course is to provide students with the skills that will help prepare them to be a successful Lesley student, including an overview of myLesley and strategies for becoming a successful online learner.

Create a Ticket
Do you have a question or need specific training? You may put in a support ticket on the IT and eLIS Support site or by emailing elis@lesley.edu. When reaching out for support, please provide your Lesley username, your course, and describe the problem to the best of your ability. If possible, include a screenshot. This information will help the support staff resolve your issue as quickly as possible.
