If you are unable to access myLesley or LOIS because of an error saying that "Too many cookies are open", or "You have exceeded the maximum number of cookies allowed" you will have to delete the excess browser cookies. This error is caused by not logging out of myLesley or LOIS before closing the browser window. 


*Please remember to always log out of myLesley and LOIS before you close your browser window. 


Firefox users on a Mac:
Open up the Firefox browser.
Go to Preferences under the Firefox menu.
Choose the Privacy & Security tab.
Under the Cookies and Site Data secion, click on the Clear Data button.

Make sure the boxes are checked and then press the Clear button.

In the window that pops up, press the Clear Now button.

If you choose, you can click on the drop-down menu to the right of  Keep until and choose Firefox is closed.
Close and restart Firefox.



Firefox users on a Windows computer:

Open up the Firefox browser.

Click on the Open menu (three lines in the upper right-hand corner).

Choose Options.

Choose Privacy and Security from the menu on the left.

In the Cookies and Site Data section click on the Clear Data button.

Make sure the boxes are checked and then press the Clear button.

In the window that pops up, press the Clear Now button.

Close and restart Firefox.



Safari users:
Open up the Safari browser.
Click on Preferences under the Safari menu.
Choose the Privacy tab.

Click on the Manage Website data button.
Click the Remove All button.

Click on the Remove Now button in the pop-up window.
Press the Done button.
Close and restart Safari.



Edge users:

Open up the Edge browser.

Click on the Settings icon (the 3 dotted lines in the right-hand corner).

Choose Settings from the menu.

Click on the Choose what to clear button under the Clear browsing data heading.

Choose what options you want to clear, but at a minimum choose Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files.

You can also choose to click on the button labeled Always clear this when I close the browser.

Close and restart Edge.



Internet Explorer (IE) users:

Open up the IE browser.
Go to the Tools item on the Menu bar.
Choose Delete browsing history....
Make sure that the first four boxes are checked, and click on the Delete button.
Close and restart IE.



Chrome Users on a Mac:
Open up the Chrome browser.
Click on Preferences under the Chrome menu.

Scroll down and click on the drop-down arrow next to Advanced.

In the Privacy and security section, click on the arrow to the right of Clear browsing data.

In the Basic tab, make sure that all the boxes are checked and click on the Clear data button.

Close and restart Chrome.



Chrome Users on a Windows computer:

Open the Chrome browser.

Click on the Customize menu (3 stacked dots located in the upper right-hand corner).

Choose Settings.

Scroll down and click on the drop-down arrow next to Advanced.

In the Privacy and security section, click on the arrow to the right of Clear browsing data.

In the Basic tab, make sure that all the boxes are checked and click on the Clear data button.

Close and restart Chrome.
