About the Attendance Tool

The Attendance tool allows faculty to easily track attendance within myLesley. You can mark whether each student is present, late, absent, or excused. You may also decide whether or not to use Attendance in grading calculations.

Watch the Mark Attendance in Ultra Courses tutorial video for more information.

Access the Attendance Tool

Ultra Courses

To access the Attendance tool in your Ultra course, go to the Details & Actions menu and select Mark Attendance.

This will launch the Attendance tool. When the tool launches for the first time, you will be prompted to Add Attendance

Next, you will be prompted to review the settings for the Attendance values. By default:

  • Present: 100%
  • Late: 50%
  • Absent: 0%

You may change the percentage for Late but, at this time, you cannot change the percentages for Present, Absent, or Excused.
