Opening an incognito window in Chrome

In an incognito window in Chrome your browsing activites, cookies and other information are not saved. Note that your activity, like your location, might still be visible to websites you visit. If you are having isses logging into a site, try opening an incognito window and logging in there. If you can log in using an incognito window, most likely if you clear your browser's cache, you will be able to log into the site in a regular Chrome window.


Opening an incognito window



1. Click the More icon on the right-hand corner of the toolbar:

2, Click on New incognito window from the drop-down menu.

You can also use a keyboard shortcut.


  • For Windows, Chrome OS or Linux: Press Ctrl + Shift + n.
  • For Mac: Press  ⌘  +Shift + n.
