About Blackboard Ultra

Lesley University is transitioning to Blackboard Ultra, the new and improved version of Blackboard. Ultra courses have been redesigned from the ground up and feature a clean modern interface, responsive mobile friendly experience, consistent and intuitive navigation, improved accessibility, streamlined grading, and more.



Choose Your Ultra Adventure

Choose the training option that best suits your needs! Whether you prefer to go at it alone, or want extra support and training on your journey, we have an Ultra training for you.


Self-Paced Ultra Training Course

Request access to Anthology Academy's Learn Teaching Essentials for Ultra course. This self-paced online course is designed to get you comfortable navigating the Learn site, building content, creating assessments, and working with discussions in the Blackboard Ultra course view. In addition to the About This Course section, there are five modules in this course that contain lessons. 

  • Getting Started with Ultra 
  • Building Courses 
  • Assessing Learners 
  • Enhancing Communication 
  • Evaluating Your Course
