Introducing Workday Assistant. A conversational chatbot that helps colleagues to quickly complete actions and retrieve information in Workday.
On the Workday home screen, you will find the chatbot on the bottom right of your screen.
You can utilize the chatbot to perform various actions such as request time off, clock in/out, perform actions on your profile, and so much more!
To get started you will click the Workday logo. The chat will expand and provide you options/suggestions you can take.
You will start the chat by entering your comment in the chat window in the middle of the screen.
Workday uses AI to understand what you are trying to tell it. You will start the conversation by telling Workday what action you need assistance with.
For example, we will ask Workday Assistant to change my payment elections. In the chat box, I will enter Change my Payment Elections.
Workday will then provide me a link where I can make the change.
You can continue the conversation by adding a new message from the chat.
Now we will request time off. I will go in the same chatroom and type Request Time Off. Workday will then ask what days I want to take off. I will enter the first week of March.
Workday will then display the eligible time off plans I have. I will select the time off plan you want to use. For this example I will choose vacation.
Workday will then provide an overview of my request. If everything looks correct, I can submit and it will route to my manager for approval. If changes are needed to be made, I can make them straight from the chatbot.
Log into Workday and see how Workday Assistant can help you on your Workday journey!
