What is the backup policy on the lab computers?

Modified on Wed, Apr 19, 2017 at 5:00 PM

It is Information Technology's (IT) policy that lab and classroom computers are not intended as public storage. All public computers are cleaned and files are deleted upon shutting down or restarting. The computers return to the same fresh state after every power cycle. This allows continuity between the computers across campus. It is the student's, staff's, and faculty's responsibility to save their data to their own storage. Suggested formats include, flash drives or cloud- based storage.
