Claim email
When your Lesley accounts are generated, an email will be sent to your personal email address on file with the university. The email will come from Lesley Username Claim <no-reply-claim@lesley.edu>, and the subject will be First name last name - Claim Your Lesley University Account. This email will include a url that links to the claim site, as well as a single-use authorization code. If you did not receive an email, check your Junk and Spam folders. If you still can't find the email, you can contact IT at it@lesley.edu or call 617.349.8770.
Claiming your account
1. Click on the url in the email that you received. You will also find your Authorization code in the email.
2. Enter your legal first name, last name, the Authorization code listed in the email, and then click the box before the I am not a robot field. Please note that you will NOT be asked for your Social Security number, bank account or other sensitive information during the claim process.
3. Choose the boxes that fit the criteria requested, and then press the Verify button.
4. If you chose the correct boxes, you will see a green checkmark before the I am not a robot field. Press the Submit button.
5. You will be brought to the User Details section that will list your Lesley username. Press the Next button.
6. You will then be brought to the Update personal information section. Enter a recovery cell phone and a recovery personal email. Press the Submit button.
Please note: If you have an international cell number, you will not be able to use it as a recovery number. You will only be able to use a personal email for recovery purposes.
7. An email with a recovery pin will be sent to your personal email address, and a text with a recovery pin will be sent to your cell number. Enter the recovery pins in the applicable fields. Press the Validate button.
8. You will be brought to the section where you can create your new password. As you enter your password, you will see the mandatory details change to green. If the details are red, that means that you are violating a password policy, and you will have to adjust the password accordingly. After you enter the password, and then re-type the password, press the RESET PASSWORD button. You will see a message that you were successful in resetting your password.
Once you have claimed your account and entered recovery information, you will be able to change or reset your password yourself in the future. Here is an article with instructions on how to do so - Changing / resetting your password
